Started off on the Syncro with 5.7 for about an hour, wanted a bit more power so changed up to 6.5. Big mistake as the wind properly kicked in after a few runs. To top that off, my downhaul pulley snapped whilst on the water which was interesting.

Went back and changed back to 5.7 but this was by now was too much too.

Rigged a 5 and busted out the waveboard and stuck with that for the rest of the day. Some nasty gusts and some lulls, but pretty much the right choice. Blasted around for a few hours. Was maxxed a lot of the time but I left my 4.5 at home (doh). Anyway, was lots of fun and really enjoyed sailing the Mistral Shift.
